Ingredients
Potatoes
Minced beef
Onion
Garlic
Peas
Beans
Sweet corn kernels
Carrots
Gravox
Salt
Pepper
Grated Cheese (Mozzarella)
Grated parmesan cheese
Butter
Preparation:
1. Boil the potatoes with a little salt until cooked. Drain
2. Chop and dice the onion and the garlic
3. Chop and slice the carrots and beans
4. Fry the onion and garlic in a tablespoon of butter until golden yellow in colour.
5. Add the minced meat, salt and pepper.
6. Stir until the meat has all broken up, fry until the meat is cooked
7. Add the vegetables
8. Dissolve a heaped tablespoon of gravox in a quarter of a cup of water and add to the meat. When the sauce is thick turn off the heat.
9. Mash the cooked potatoes with a little cracked pepper, 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese.
10. Put the minced meat in a greased oven proof baking dish on top of the meat layer the mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese and bake under the grill until golden brown.
